Spreading Great Gossip About Your Guy

Today's project is to say something nice about your husband to someone else. Make sure you tell him what you said, and to whom.

How many times have you and your girlfriends gotten together and gushed about your significant others? More than likely, never. I'm not sure if it's just our way of bonding, a chance to get it off our shoulders, or a combination of both, but usually when a bunch of women are together we end up talking about our husbands' faults.

"How hard is it for him to take out the trash?"

"Really, is it too much to ask for him to change a diaper once in a while?"

How often is it that you hear,

"I'm so lucky to have a man that works so hard for his family."

"He's such a great father."



To be fair, you probably do hear or say great things about your husband, but they are usually followed by a, "but how hard would it be for him to do his laundry once in a while?"

So, go call a friend or family member and brag about how fantastic your husband is and let your husband know about it. Remember, the actual Husband Project is a secret, but any person loves to know when they are being praised. As Kathi wrote, "As cliche as it may sound, our husbands want to be our heroes." When he comes home tonight, tell him that you were talking to so and so about how much you appreciate everything he does for your family.

How did yesterday's project, "Back in the Day", go for you? I had every intention of playing some cards, but hubby got home late. So, we made plans for some card playing tonight.

Tomorrow's project will be: "Heart vs Stomach" - Make or buy a food treat that is just for your husband.
